Walking for Impact: CEA Joins the 3rd Annual TAGS Fundraising Walk

CEA continues to champion community-driven solutions by actively investing in initiatives that empower vulnerable populations. On March 28th, 2026, CEA team participated in the 3rd Annual TAGS Fundraising Walk at Karura Forest, joining partners in advancing access to education for girls.

Held under the theme “Educating a Girl, One Step at a Time,” the walk brought together stakeholders including the Center for Domestic Training and Development (CDTD) and the Talia Agler Girls Shelter (TAGS), who were the main conveners, all united in supporting inclusive education and safe spaces for girls.

The event served as a platform to raise awareness on girls’ education, mobilize resources for safe shelters, and encourage responsible environmental practices through initiatives such as the use of reusable water bottles.

From the early morning start at 8:00 AM to the final stretch at noon, the event demonstrated the strength of collective action. Professionals, families, and partner organizations underscored a shared understanding that collaboration and consistent engagement achieve lasting social impact.

Through such partnerships, CEA continues to play a proactive role in ensuring that girls are not only educated but also supported within safe and enabling environments where they can thrive.
