CEA in collaboration with the Prisons department, Catholic Prisons Chaplaincy, Kenya Society for the Blind (KSB) and Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK) aim to address specific needs of the disabled among other vulnerable prisoners in Kenya. Some of the interventions will include:
- Psychological support and advocacy services
- Conduct high and sharp mentorship process for inmates to create peer champions who will assist others within prisons
- Assistive devices
- Counseling support for ex-inmates
- Review of the current rehabilitation and reintegration programs for ex-inmates
