Since its establishment CEA works in :

• Educating the public about human trafficking and also in preventing it and strengthening capacities of grassroots CBOs and those of FBOs in addressing human trafficking
• Pursuing youth mentorship programs targeting those who are vulnerable and empowering them to be able to exploit available opportunities
• Strengthening the community child protection systems where children face various risks such as sexual exploitation, hazardous work and human trafficking  
• Engages counties in ensuring that county integrated budgets have gender responsive budgets. In the same light empowers communities to perform social accountability to track public expenses and also to participate in the county integrated budgeting processes
• Strengthening community education, health and HIV system endeavors targeting vulnerable populations.
• Tracking the implementation of SDGs in Kenya, with a specific focus on SDG 16.
