CEA works to empower women in various dimensions. It works with both young teenage mothers and rural women in this empowerment drive. The interventions of CEA are found in counties such as Elgeyo Marakwet, Kakamega and Nairobi. Part of its interventions in women empowerment include:
- Assisting women to form cooperation endeavors in form of self helps
- Providing vocational skills to women in accordance to their context (rural vs urban/ young vs elderly)
- Counseling and psycho-social support
- Assisting women to initiate projects with a change making orientation
- Enabling exchange visits among women groups
- Commemoration of international days of relevance to their issues
- Establishing welfare interventions to address their problems
- Addressing the challenges of GBV and HIV
