Consolation East Africa recently had the opportunity to engage with the Kenya Society for the Blind (KSB) in a productive meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and exploring opportunities for greater social inclusion.

The engagement brought together representatives from both organizations to share experiences, explore areas of mutual interest and identify opportunities to work together towards more sustainable and inclusive community-led solutions.

A key area of interest was strengthening opportunities for young people and persons with disabilities to participate meaningfully in their communities. The discussions also highlighted the importance of building partnerships that draw on the unique strengths, expertise and experience of different organizations.

For Consolation East Africa, such engagements are an important part of building meaningful partnerships beyond individual projects. By connecting organizations and creating spaces for shared learning and collaboration, we can contribute to stronger networks and greater impact for the communities we serve.
