On November 20, 2024, CEA proudly participated in the Children’s Day celebrations in Murang’a County, reaffirming our commitment to children’s rights and well-being. The event, dedicated to raising awareness about children’s issues, was marked by the launch of the Murang’a County Children’s Policy, a significant step toward strengthening child protection and development frameworks in the region. To commemorate the day, a colorful procession through Murang’a Town brought together stakeholders, children, and community members in a united call for child welfare.
CEA played an active role by distributing dignity kits to ensure both boys and girls had essential health and hygiene supplies, as well as supporting the distribution of bread and milk to nourish the children and foster a sense of community. Through these efforts, CEA continues to champion initiatives that safeguard children’s rights and provide them with the resources they need to thrive.
