On June 16, 2024, CEA was proud to participate in the Day of the African Child (DAC) celebrations held at Mwatate Primary School in Taita Taveta County. The event, led by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, was themed ‘Education for all children in Africa: The Time is Now’ and focused on advancing access to quality education for every child.
CEA actively engaged in several key activities during the celebration, including the distribution of dignity kits for both boys and girls, as well as bread and milk for the students. The organization also contributed to fostering unity by distributing T-shirts and participated in the symbolic planting of trees. These efforts aligned with the broader objectives of the event, which highlighted the importance of education, child welfare, and environmental sustainability.
By participating in the DAC 2024, CEA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that ensure every child, regardless of background, has access to quality education and a brighter future.
