Awareness Efforts During 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, CEA joined forces with Kajiado North organizations, the Forum for Women, KARA Project, and the County Government to amplify the call for an end to violence against women and girls. The campaign, which ran from November 25 to December 10, featured a series of impactful activities, including a march from Ngong Town to Rongai Town to raise awareness.

The culmination event on December 10 at AIC Church in Namanga Town was marked by a vibrant parade led by CEA, followed by an address from Kajiado’s First Lady, Edna Lenku. Throughout the event, speakers emphasized the devastating consequences of gender-based violence and the urgent need for collective action to protect and empower women and children. This initiative reinforced CEA’s commitment to advocacy, awareness, and creating a safer, more just society for all.
