The Young Community Ambassadors (YCA) Graduation Ceremony, held on May 9th, 2025, at the CEA Office, marked a significant milestone for youth engaged in community service and development. Attended by representatives from the Ministry of Community Affairs (MCA), social work professionals, and community members, the event recognized the achievements of the graduating cohort who had completed a program designed to empower young people with leadership and social engagement skills. The MCA representative emphasized the importance of partnerships between government, grassroots organizations, and youth in driving long-term social impact, highlighting the YCA initiative as a model for youth-led change.
During the ceremony, YCA leadership and graduates expressed deep gratitude to the MCA, social workers, and the CEA Office for their mentorship, support, and commitment throughout the program. Graduates received certificates as a formal acknowledgment of their dedication and growth. Many shared testimonials on how the experience had shaped their personal development and increased their passion for community service. They pledged to continue championing positive change in their localities, applying the lessons learned to address pressing social issues and mobilize others.

Looking forward, the YCA team discussed plans to expand the reach of their programs through stronger partnerships, increased youth engagement, and new community projects. The graduation was not just a celebration but a launching pad for future action. With renewed commitment and the backing of supportive stakeholders, YCA graduates aim to build a broader movement of young people working toward justice, inclusion, and sustainable development in their communities.
