The event was organized by Inspire Teenage Foundation, together with partners CARA Foundation and Consolation East Africa.
The girls were briefly highlighted on how HIV spread, its treatment and modes of prevention, which was presented by CHV representative from Ngong country hospital, also a member of Inspire Teenage Foundation.
They were also taken through knowledge on GBV, types of GBV, and how to avoid falling victims, and interventions for victims of GBV.

Consolation talked about Human Trafficking, what it is and the need to fight against the menace, as well as how to avoid falling victim, through using right channels whenever need to work away from home area arises.
The event ended, with a session of issuance of sanitary towels to the teenage girls, and recognizing standard Eight and form four candidates by wishing them luck and rewarding them with extra pads.
